About me

Over the past 29 years, I have worked in a variety of roles across different industries, including business travel, insurance and employee services, publishing, chartered accountancy, psychometric assessment, automotive, property services and higher education.

I have also completed an MBA in Tourism Management with the University of Cumbria, which included an industry research project focused on the sustainable business growth of a popular heritage attraction in the Lake District National Park.

Through these varied roles and experiences, I have built a wealth of knowledge and understanding about business processes and stakeholder needs and developed a wide range of transferable skills and expertise.

What I bring to a project/organisation

  • Attention to detail: I have a keen eye for detail and meticulous focus on quality. From writing briefs and editing content to managing schedules and project deliverables, I ensure all work is of the highest standard, fit for purpose and delivered on time.
  • Project management: I have managed the development and delivery of a wide range of projects, from £3k motion graphics animations and £10-15k new website builds to £100k CMS implementations and £1m web/mobile applications.
  • Stakeholder management: I am comfortable working with colleagues and clients at all management levels. I work hard to understand a business, its stakeholders and its requirements, to deliver the right solution and services, whilst managing expectations accordingly.
  • Collaboration and teamwork: I love being part of a team, working closely with colleagues to deliver the best solutions and services. I enjoy taking the lead on day-to-day work and projects and supporting individuals and teams in achieving their objectives.
  • Versatility, dedication and reliability: I adapt well to changing demands and am quick to learn new skills and methods. I always go the extra mile to deliver the most professional result to the highest standards, and I am a safe pair of hands who you can trust to take ownership of tasks and projects.

What I look for in projects/organisations
