Website re-platforming project for Countrywide Plc

July 2018 – December 2019

During my role as Web CMS Manager at Countrywide Plc, I played a key role in their website re-platforming project, which included the implementation of a new content management system (EpiServer) and creation of a series of new websites.

This involved:

• Configuring the content management system (CMS) and making suggestions for improvements and new features.
• Providing user experience (UX), information architecture (IA) and content design input.
• Liaising with business stakeholders to identify content requirements.
• Writing and editing content.
• Creating page layouts and content blocks in the CMS.
• Setting up a series of new websites:
  • Countrywide corporate website and four sub-sites for key business areas (mortgages, insurance, surveying and conveyancing) – www.countrywide.co.uk
  • Premium brand estate and lettings agency websites, using individual content and imagery with core layouts to deliver bespoke, high-end websites – www.hamptons.co.uk and www.johndwood.co.uk
  • Portfolio of 55+ estate and lettings agency websites, combining shared content and functionality with individual brand styling – e.g. www.wilsonpeacock.co.uk
  • Premium brand financial services website – www.capitalprivatefinance.co.uk
  • Premium brand conveyancing website – www.countryandcapital.co.uk
• Managing the ongoing web content publishing process.
